Dogs may bring their well-mannered owners on a leash to an evening of dancing and dining for dogs to honor the new book Rover, Get Off Her Leg! by Darlene Arden.

This free event will begin with an exciting performance by Canine Freestyle dancing dogs and their handlers. This activity features costumes and choreographed moves done to music demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and incorporating traditional dog obedience. Darlene Arden, the award-winning author of four books, will sign copies of her soon-to-be-released, Rover, Get off Her Leg! for the dog who pees on your rug, steals the roast and poops in improper places. More information about Arden and her work is available at http://www.darlenearden.com/.

The evening will also include a puppy buffet especially suited for the canine palette – people food will be served as well.
